MikeDVB
I have members who are on the PayPal gateway, I've notified them that I am going to be changing credit card processors, as I am currently using regular paypal with subscriptions. I have gone in and changed the payment gateway on all accounts so that none of them are on PayPal (I even did a few filtered searches for PayPal) and nothing comes up, but yet I cannot deactivate the gateway (it says there are still people on it) What am I forgetting to do? joe123
make sure you change the inactive accounts and all cancelled products as well , all has to be changed.
MikeDVB
I did, there is no account/client using PayPal as the gateway, but yet it still says it's in use and will not let me deactivate it. I went so far as to manually go thru each client and verified that their payment method is NOT PayPal.

MikeDVB
I assure you, I have painstakingly been thru every single record, every account, active, suspended, terminated, fraud, cancelled, active, expired, inactive, cancelled, fraud, every single one. There is not a single account set to PayPal, I even went so far to query the database manually and cannot find an account using PayPal...
joe123
Well the best you can do at the moment is to Untick the box next to "Visible on Order Form" till you find a solution , maybe submit a support ticket.
WHMCS Developer WHMCS Andrew Posted January 17, 2008 WHMCS Developer Share Posted January 17, 2008 invoices, orders, products. if anywhere (AFAIK) still references the gateway, then it will not let you delete it. You should check the option to hide the payment gateway until you can remove it.
MikeDVB
I have one order that still shows Paypal as the method, but I cannot change it, I could delete the order, but I'd rather not do that. I can download the Database but I don't have an easy way to restore a modified database although I can do it if it's necessary. I'd think there is a better way to do this?
MikeDVB
I deleted the order and then I placed a new order and filled back in the correct information, this was painstaking, surely there is an easier way to do this? Perhaps by being able to change the payment method on the order itself?
WHMCS Developer WHMCS Andrew Posted January 17, 2008 WHMCS Developer Share Posted January 17, 2008 you can edit the order payment method in the database manually... no way to edit (that I can see) from the front end
