JohnTigerAnt
Does anybody work here anymore?
bear
No one from staff really "worked" in this board, though they occasionally reply here. For support, you need to contact support directly. -
JohnTigerAnt
Bear, can you edit WHMCS? And can you tell me about this error when I try and add my server: Connection Error: OpenSSL SSL_connect: SSL_ERROR_SYSCALL in connection to 184.154.167.34:2086 (35)? bear
I only deal with my own installation(s), I'm afraid. From what I've read that may be a cURL error, but WHMCs support (that you presumably pay for) should be able to help you.

JohnTigerAnt
I cannot tell you because it was fixed by my hosting reseller company support.
bear
Sorry to hear you can't share it. Generally with something like this, my first question is "so, what caused it?". Just me, I guess. Glad it's fixed.
JohnTigerAnt
Sorry but I have little faith in those who built WHMCS. My support guys also helped me fix the cron problem.
bear
It has nothing to do with those who built WHMCS, it's a matter of you having an error and someone fixed it for you. Posting what that fix was would potentially help others. No one is making you do it, but you could save someone the frustration you *just* experienced if they came across this thread. Or not.
JohnTigerAnt
I'm telling you that WHMCS support is not up to what it should be.

We all know this, and I even mentioned it's **unrelated** to that. Your support fixed it, you're not sharing that fix. Simple. Rather than argue, I just won't reply any more. Share or don't.
JohnTigerAnt
Tell you what I will do, is try and get them to tell me how they fixed it. I can see where is will be helpful to others.
JohnTigerAnt
This is what support told me about the problem: There was an issue with the hostname and API key in server settings which we corrected to resolved this issue.
