Brandon A
Hi All, We are encountering an issue on some orders that pass both the FraudLabs check and the Stripe Radar Fraud Detection check with low scores but WHMCS is still marketing the orders as Fraud. Any idea's on what could be causing this? Thanks! Brandon Adaptive Web Hostinghttps://adaptivewebhosting.com
office_dude
Hi Brandon, Did you ever find a cause / resolution for this issue? I seem to be experiencing a very similar issue, although using MaxMind instead of FraudLabs. Do you mind if I ask what version of WHMCS this is on?
steven99
What are you maxmind settings under the fraud protection page? Even if it passes maxmind, there are some options there that could reject it - like high risk country or proxy network.
office_dude
We've tried different combinations of the fraud protections settings - however still getting the same results. Don't believe these settings are causing the issue. Eg. if 'Reject High Risk Country' in the only option enable - local orders have been marked as Fraud (nor has it been identified as a High Risk Country) There must be some other setting causing this, however it's not very visible. Maybe it's something to do with the WHMCS version - hoping this is resolved once we apply an update.
sahostking
WE have the exact same issue. With FRaudlabs and Maxmind. Its very strange. And in the backed one fraudlabs website and on maxmind its approved and pass but in whmcs it marks the order as fraud. Not good.
Takito
I'm using only Maxmind and rarely has the same issues. Last time I remember it was due to the address validation failed, so might worth trying ticking the box "Do Not Validate Address Information" Edited August 11, 2022 by Takito
