"oops! something went wrong" Error after changing to PHP 7.4

Recommended Posts

Just updated to PHP 7.4.  At first I got an error that ionCube was not installed.  Easy fix and it is now installed.   Now I get an error on all pages including all admin pages.  "oops! something went wrong and we couldn't process your request" .   Was able to go back to PHP 7.2 and it works fine.  Any ideas what I am missing?

I had the debug turned on when I did this.  Double checked and it is on.  Doesn't show anything that gives me a hint of the problem.   Put this back to PHP 7.2 for now as I have other sites not working also.  Need to fix the customers sites first.  It appears I have a number of sites not working as I need mysqli installed.  Can anybody point to a good article that would explain how to do this.   Wondering if this is what is causing the problem with WHMCS.    Thanks to everybody for the help.

OK,  Problem solved.   It was caused by mysqli not being installed.   Couldn't find mysqli in Easy Apache at all even though every article I read mentioned installing through Easy Apache.  Finaly found one that said "In EasyApache 4, the mysqli extension is provided by the mysqlnd package"   Installed mysqlnd and it works fine.   Thanks again for all the help.
