Oops! Something went wrong

Recommended Posts

Hello,
I have a problem clicking on the download page.
I changed the domain name a while ago.
When I try to access the download page, the following errors appear:

There is not putty.zip in ‘/files/prog/‘

File not found at path: http:/www.olddomain.biz/files/prog/putty.zip

Check if it’s deleted by your host.

Hello,
Thank you for your answer.

It was already deleted.
However, I uploaded the file and the page did not work.

What to do?

Do you have a new error ?

No.

Please note that I have only changed the domain name.

It means the old domain name for example
olddomain.com
And the new newdomain.com

The link that appears on the page shows the old link, not the new one.
olddomain.com/files/prog/putty.zip
And I actually uploaded the same file to the same path in the old domain.

However, it did not work and the error message did not change.

So you deleted from the WHMCS and readded. But you still get the same error.

Have you checked if when you upload the file, you host is deleting the file ?

When the error appeared, the file was not in its old directory.

I thought exactly as you think, and I went to the control panel and deleted everything that was uploaded to make sure that there was no trace of any file in the database.

And the problem didn't solve.

After writing your first response, you uploaded the file to its correct path. It also did not work.

Now I tried to add the file again with the old directory, but there is no option to add external links.

I tried now to upload the file and add it, and the process was successful.
I went to the file manager and found that the file had been uploaded in its place.

I went again and deleted it from the Downloads section then looked at File Manager and found it had been deleted.
This means uploading and deleting is worked.
I also tried the file download link WHMCS produced before deleting it worked fine.

But when entering the downloads page, at every step, the same error appears.

Thanks for sharing with me.
