WHMCS at reseller level?

If you sign-up a reseller in WHM/cpanel can you install a separate WHMCS license for the reseller to use in signing up there virtual hosting accounts?

 

If so then what would happen to the other features in WHMCS to the reseller, would they be able to attempt to create reseller, server plans or is there a way to turn this off so they could only sell virtual plans since they wouldnt have access to do anything else anyway.

Each installation requires a license, so the reseller would need to have thier own (purchased) license, and it would behave as one.

WHMCS does not have a "reseller" function. If your reseller has an account, he can buy the packages he needs from there.

Right, but if i create a reseller hosting account in whm/cpanel and then upload a whmcs license for them to use for auto creation and billing of their own customers on their own WHMCS license.

 

What happens to the reseller packages and server package options in whmcs. Can they be turned off so they wont attempt to create reseller hosting package, because they wont be able to to it at only the reseller level in whm.

The creation of reseller accounts feature can't be turned off, but they just won't be able to use it.

 

And I'm not sure I understand your original request but if you are wanting to offer WHMCS to your reseller/dedicated server clients then you need to see http://www.whmcs.com/resellers.php for bulk purchase pricing.

Let me get this straight, you want to be able to give your resellers whmcs? but you dont want them to be able to create reseller plans using it, correct? if so then thats not a problem, just make sure you create them as a sub reseller and not a master reseller, that way it works perfect
