Enabling Tax and Configuring

is permission to modify tax configuration enabled in your administrator role ??

because if it's unticked as above, then the option wouldn't be shown in the menu... if it is enabled, then it should be.

Hi,

yes this is ticked for my admin role and still not in the menu.

I have noticed this in the sidebar though and this does take me to the page although i do have to click on to a page to make this appear like Setup => Staff Management => Administrator Users for it to appear.

I have noticed my friend has additional parts in his menu that i dont have also and other than the front end theme and a few modules installed through WHMCS default then there are no additional modifications.

One that i can think of from the top of my head is storage settings from the utilities menu i believe it is.

the conditional links in the sidebar and menu templates should be the same - so it's strange that it shows on one but not the other... any chance your templates are outdated (e.g didn't update correctly), or you have multiple admin folders ??

Well this is a complete new install on 16th June this year as i had major database corruption and im not sure if its had an update since then.

There is only 1 admin folder too yes.

The admin template is the default. The only change is the logo in the top corner which is basically file over-right so no code has been changed.

then let's try the old turn it off, turn it back on again trick - so in administrator roles, untick the tax configuration checkbox and save - that should remove the tax link from the sidebar (after a page refresh)... if so, enable the checkbox again and see if the link appears in both the sidebar and the menu.

hii sorry i have fixed it. similar what you said but whilst you was typing (im guessing) i changed the admin theme to v4 and then back to blend and its appeared now with additional parts on there 🙂

 

my logo has gone from the top also so im wondering if its some sort of server or site cache or something as i empty my browser cache quite regular
