Email Marketer Logging

Recommended Posts

When using https://docs.whmcs.com/Email_Marketer , is WHMCS logging that the email was sent under the 'Emails' tab within the clients profile or anywhere else? I'm not seeing it under the 'Emails' tab. If not, what's the best way to make sure the emails are going out?

has the daily cron run yet ?

the Marketer only runs once per day, at the daily time specified in your settings...

https://docs.whmcs.com/Crons#Change_of_Daily_Cron_Hour

first port of call might be to check the activity log to see if the daily cron, and especially the marketer, has ran.... if so, then you could check the email log to see if the emails are shown there...

@brian!

Daily cron runs without issues and has run several times before and after this particular email was supposed to go out. The task ran on the day this email should have gone out and when I check mail delivery through WHM, the email went to the customer:

Maybe WHMCS is not logging this activity under the 'email' tab (admin side) and customer email (customer account area)?

I had always assumed that it did - perhaps I was mistaken... will have to test that when I get the chance.... there's nothing in the docs about this either way, nor any requests asking for it.

in the meantime, there is always the option to add your email address to the bcc box in the email template used by this marketer rule and you should receive a copy of it at the same time WHMCS sends it to the client... not particularly useful if the marketer is sending a lot of emails, but an option nonetheless.

That's a good idea and easy enough to do for a few of the templates. Thanks!
