Allowing order of new configurable options with unpaid invoice

Recommended Posts

Hi,

We are looking for a way to allow customers with an automatic (but slow) payment method to continue to make changes to subscriptions (ie. downgrade from 5 to 4 mailboxes).
Any tips or ideas on how to achieve this are more than welcome!

Thanks!

there's a 5 year old feature request for this..

https://requests.whmcs.com/topic/allow-upgrading-downgrading-after-invoice-generation

i've seen requests with 100+ more votes than that not yet implemented, so I wouldn't hold out much hope from that direction.

We would like to disable the "there is a invoice open" check during a up/downgrade to always allow customers to perform an a up/downgrade.

but I think that check is hardcoded - I can't think of an obvious way around that... even if you remove the additional template checks, the $configfoptions array doesn't exist and would have to be rebuilt to give the page the required functionality.
