Analygital
Hello, I am facing a pretty annoying issue which prevents me from setting up my WHMCS instance. Whenever I access the "Setup > General Settings", I am faced with the following error: ArgumentCountError: Too few arguments to function WHMCS\Utility\Recaptcha::__construct(), 0 passed in /path/to/whmcs/adminarea/configgeneral.php on line 0 and exactly 1 expected in /path/to/whmcs/vendor/whmcs/whmcs-foundation/lib/Utility/Recaptcha.php:0 Stack trace: #0 /path/to/whmcs/adminarea/configgeneral.php(0): WHMCS\Utility\Recaptcha->__construct() #1 {main} Extra information: 1. This issue appeared following an automatic system upgrade from v7.6.0 to v7.7.1 which was problematic. I suspect it was not complete. 2. The header in `/path/to/whmcs/adminarea/configgeneral.php` indicates the following version, so it may not have been updated : // * Version: 7.6.0 (7.6.0-release.1) * // * BuildId: 287285f.364 * 3. I may not be able to do a manual upgrade because my license was provided by a WHMCS partner reseller hosting. So I don't have an account on whmcs.com from which I could download the upgrade package! I would be very thankful for help about this issue, please. Thank you in advance!

So I don't have an account on whmcs.com from which I could download the upgrade package! you could try opening a ticket with WHMCS Reseller Support, and ask for the v7.7.1 zip... even if they can't/won't give it to you, you're still entitled to support from them whether you get your license direct or through a reseller. if you get your license directly from WHMCS - https://www.whmcs.com/support/ if you get your license from a reseller / host - https://www.whmcs.com/reseller-support/ fwiw, I think it's an incomplete upgrade too.
WHMCS Technical Analyst II WHMCS Lawrence Posted April 10, 2019 WHMCS Technical Analyst II Share Posted April 10, 2019 This sounds like an incomplete manual update, so re-uploading a fresh copy of files to the admin folder should resolve this. If it does not, please feel free to open a ticket as suggested (if you haven't already) and we will be glad to help!
