WHMCS ChrisD
Hello @MrAidanlw97, Thanks for your post on WHMCS.Community, firstly, are you using the correct cPanel Username & API Token? If you enable your module log under Utitlies > Logs > Module Log and then try connecting again do you receive any detailed error messages in the Module Log?
WHMCS Technical Analyst WHMCS William Posted April 5, 2019 WHMCS Technical Analyst Share Posted April 5, 2019 Hello, To add on to our previous message, this error will typically mean that something is actively preventing the WHMCS API from reaching the server, specifically one of the following: 1. Incorrect IP address specified for the server. 2. Firewall rules blocking port 2087 for your IP (or all IPs). 3. CSF requiring the IP to be whitelisted for API access. 4. CPHulk blocking the connection for failed connection attempts. 5. Host Access Control on the server in question not having an allowance for your installation IP. Each of these can cause this error, even if your installation is located on the same server you are connecting to.
