HTTP Error:22 when using 'downloads'

Recommended Posts

Hello folks,

I update my whmcs to 7.7.0 since a few weeks on php 5.6.

Since the last update to whmcs 7.7.0 i get an error when a client log in and goes to 'Downloads": ?rp=/download

The error that is showing is this one:

HTTP Error:22/The requested URL returned error: 500 Internal Server Error at https://example.com/panel/index.php?rp=%2Fdownload&systpl=six

How can this be solve??
Thanks already for any help!!

Thanks Brian. I did play with the URL option but it didn't help.

Another url is giving no problems for example:
?rp=/knowledgebase
or
?rp=/announcements

it's only ?rp=/download that is giving this error

Update the whmcs version.... should this solve the issue for sure??
Updating to another version is a lot of work because of some theme issue's i'm running into...

this is the thread I was thinking of...

https://help.whmcs.com/m/marketconnect/l/747675-troubleshooting-a-404-error-or-unexpected-page

if you haven't done so already, i'd suggest working through those pages (especially the help page) to ensure 100% that it's not a Friendly URLs or htaccess issue.... might also be worth checking that it's not a WHMCS bridge issue too.

I wouldn't vouch for any WHMCS release to solve an issue! 🙂

I can appreciate that... and I did notice there is a missing FontAwesome icon for the SubmitTicket link on the WHMCS homepage..

I would suggest not upgrading yet just to resolve this issue, try the above ideas first before considering that.

No idea what to do now....

how did you update? automatic updater or manually via ftp download ?? if using the updater, trying a manual ftp upload of the v7.7.0 files again might be an option, just in case there are missing/corrupt files.

other than that, you may need to open a ticket with Support and have them take a look...
