How to configure per user per month billing

Recommended Posts

We would like to offer a package which allow company to purchase mail hosting which will be 1usd per user per month. there will be different package i e 1-5 users, 6-20 users, 21-60 users and so on, all slab will have different price such as 1-5 users will be 1usd per user per month, 1-5 user .80 usd if purchase  for 3 month, 1-5 users .60 usd if purchase for 6 month. So customer can buy this package for 3 user per month or per 3 month or per 6 month. How to set billing for them?

I tried but unable to set billing policy. I am presenting my scenario below:

Package 1: for 1-5 users. 3usd per user per month

                    for 1-5 users 2.90 per user per month if chose package for 6 month

                    for 2-5 users 2.80 per user per month if chose package for 12 month

so if a customer buy this package, for one month for 3 users, he will pay 3x3=9usd per month and billing cycle will be 1 month.

if customer buy this package for 6 month for 3 user, he will pay 3x2.9userx6month=52.2usd and billing cycle will be 6 monthly

if customer buy this package for one year,  for 3 user, he will pay 3x2.8=12=100.8sud per year. I tried combination, but each time i am getting monthly payment total for 3 users. not 6 month or yearly amount.

I don't think you can group quantities/users in the way that you want to - you could do it with configurable options if using individual options...

  • 1 user -> $3 per month / 17.4 per 6 months / 2.8*12 per year
  • 2 user -> $6 per month / 34.8 per 6 months / 5.6*12 per year
  • 3 user -> $9 per month / 52.2 per 6 months / 8.4*12 per year
  • 4 user -> $12 per month / 69.6 per 6 months / 11.2*12 per year
  • 5 user -> $15 per month / 87 per 6 months / 14*12 per year

failing that, you may need to look at Discount Center addon to see if that can do what you want.
