Reminder of expiring prodct Before/without issuing an invoice

rdborg

Question

Hi... i wish to know if this is possible.

I will want to notify customers example 30 days before their next renewal payment is due WITHOUT issuing an invoice so that customers can choose to upgrade their plan from within the system if they wish.. and say 15 days before renewal date if nothing is changed by the client Then the invoice is issued with their current plan or with the upgrade/downgrade they have chosen... i tried to to find if this is possible before i go ahead and purchase... maybe you can explain how this is done and if its easy to do.

Thanks

Ryan

you could use the Email Marketer.

always remember that upgrading does NOT change the renewal (next due) date.

https://docs.whmcs.com/Automated_Upgrades_and_Downgrades

... so they may end up with two invoices... one for the upgrade to take them to the existing due date, and then a renewal invoice as normal at the upgraded/downgraded price.
