Need Help Urgently.. Keep getting Down for Maintenance (Err 3)

Down for Maintenance (Err 3)

An upgrade is currently in progress... Please come back soon...

 

 

I got the above error message after trying to upgrade to V7.6

Have tried to delete the /install folder as some thread suggested but prob still persist. 

Please help this is getting annoying

Seeing this error indicates that the version of the files do not match the version of your database. So for example the files uploaded might be for Version 7.6, but the upgrade script might not have been run yet so the database is still only setup for Version 7.5. To resolve this you need to do a full reupload of the current versions WHMCS files, and run through any upgrade process that is presented to you when doing that and once completed you will be able to access the system again.

Appreciate the reply. My license is from a reseller inmotionhosting. I am not able to download the full release as it requires me to login. anyway to download it somewhere else ?

option 1 - open a ticket with WHMCS Reseller Support - you won't need to login to open a ticket with them, and hopefully they will be able to send you a link.

option 2 - you could download it from an alternate source... one such location might be Namecheap - the file looks legitimate to me, but obviously i'm not vouching for it! 🙂

could be a browser issue at your end - that link just opens various department details and troubleshooting links that they want you to go through before submitting a ticket.

you could try a direct link to open a ticket with Reseller Support if you can't work through the options...
