Matt D
Hello, it appears my clients are not receiving emails that I manually send. I'll select their client profile, load a email template, make adjustments and press send. It shows up in the email tab of their client profile but they never actually receive it. Any suggestions? TIA
Matt D
I have found the support document on email sending troubleshooting https://docs.whmcs.com/Email_Sending_Issues#Common_Errors however I am still stuck. I should mention that I have Godaddy hosting which might be the root of my problems? In the WHMCS mail settings I thought everything was working okay under php mode but once I realized clients are not receiving emails I tried switching to SMTP and entered the SMTP details....still no luck. Also tried using a gmail account instead of godaddy. Should I open a support ticket?
WHMCS ChrisD
@Matt D did you try adding $smtp_debug = true; To the end of your configuration.php file and then try sending an email for any errors? Also just ensure GoDaddy arent blocking the SMTP ports if Memory Serves they do require you to use their own SMTP Server
