Managing failed domain transfers

Hey Guys

What are your methods of handling failed domain transfers.

Currently whmcs does three things upon failure of a domain transfer :

  1. Sends the client a mail
  2. Changes the status of the domain to cancelled (not transfer failed)
  3. Adds a to do item

What is the best method of handling these from a whmcs admin perspective as we cannot see a simple way of crediting the transfer fee back to the clients account, nor editing the epp code that was provided at the time of transfer (in circumstances where the provided code is incorrect)
