adamjedgar
I have added my server in whmcs. Hostname: server3.mydomain.com IP Address: xx.xxx.xx.xxx:15000 (server external ip and virtualmin port) Nameservers (these are all external nameservers) Primary ns1.domain.com IP Adress: xx.xx.xx.xx Primary ns2.domain.com IP Adress: xx.xx.xx.xx Primary ns3.domain.com IP Adress: xx.xx.xx.xx Server Details Type: Virtualmin Username: my root user (as outlined bywhmcs) Password:passwd Secure: Yes (use ssl mode for connections) when i try to connect to my virtualmin control panel from whmcs, i get the following: Page not found - website name (a client website on the server...this should not be the case) https://server3.mydomain.com/session_login.cgi the above url is wrong...it should have the port number after ".com" any ideas on how to fix this?
WHMCS ChrisD
Hi @adamjedgar If you take a look under the Module Log under Utilites > Logs > Module Log do you see any errors in there?
adamjedgar
the log is empty. I installed this using a virtulamin script...do i still need to manually add the virtulamin module? (even though cloudmin and virtualmin are in the server list)
adamjedgar
Ah i found the problem... In following the whmcs documentation on how to setup a new server, i thought the port number goes into the IP Address box. eg I had enterred IP Address 12.345.67.89:15000 (or whatever custom port one has sassigned virtualmin) In fact, it was one of the virtualmin guys who, in another community post dated some time ago, mentioned that the Hostname should contain port number ie server1.mydomain.com:15000 (or whatever custom port one has assigned to virtualmin) It takes me to the correct admin login screen now.
