REGISTRA MODULE

Beko Media

Question

hello

I'm trying to setup a registrar module API with my local registry here. I have downloaded the recommended php file from github and I have created a new php script filtering out only the required aspects of the script (RegisterDomain, TransferDomain, RenewDomain, GetNameservers, SaveNameservers, GetContactDetails, SaveContactDetails). I thought that I could find a step by step document detailing how to set this up but Im struggling to get this setup. I have credentials from my registra and they have whitelisted my IP address but now Im just stuck. Please help or at least point me to a useful step by step document

I fear such "step by step" document does not exist... if a registrar has its own set of API, converting it in a set of API usable by the WHMCS registrar module may not be such easy, and may need a lot of debugging.
Hope you have access to a sandbox for developing and debugging, otherwise I guess it may be almost impossible.

Question: your registrar provides its own API, but does not provide a WHMCS module?

@Remitur original question is important here...

the WHMCS sample registrar module from GitHub, on it's own, is useless - it needs to be able to communicate with your registrar (usually via an API) - if your registrar doesn't have provide an API, then it's going to be difficult for WHMCS to communicate with it.
