ERROR when trying to 'Login as Client' Client unable to login either

This error exists for all of my pre-existing clients but does not affect new clients/ new WHMimports

Even if I delete the client and re-import, the issue remains.

I have custom CSS on the six template. However, I have a backup of the template which is unmodified called sixbak and when I set it to sixbak and clear cache it does not resolve the issue.

There is nothing in Apache Error log.

Any ideas?

upsell.tpl is the template used to show MarketConnect promotions on the clientarea homepage...

that part is slightly weird... perhaps a WHMCS upgrade didn't complete correctly.

css shouldn't be an issue - this is either a template issue, or it's a core WHMCS problem about not being updated correctly.

I would suggest trying one of three things..

  1. reupload the /vendor folder again from the full download of your installed WHMCS version.
  2. use a clean version of "Six" (again from the download) and see if that fixes the issue.
  3. disable MarketConnect promotions from setup -> MarketConnect
