Today I installed a new template then I faced a problem that the home page has shown an error message:

The client area is working fine.

This is definitely a template issue. In this case, you can look at the file referenced to see what the line is that is causing the issue, however I would recommend reaching out to the developer of the template to inform them of this issue and see if they can provide a fix for you.

Do you mean upgrade the WHMCS?  but whether we can download the six template version which is match our WHMCS version?
