Hi and welcome. Yes, WHMCS will be great for that. Even if you are just using it for your own customers and not the public. That is smart thinking, you should rather first test it internally with your own customers and once you feel comfortable, open it up for the rest of the general public.

Check out the docs, they include a lot of information and if there is something you can’t do, remember that WHMCS has API and hooks so with a bit of developing or hiring someone you can probably do what you need. If not, there is always a module someone made ?
