How To Set Price For Purchasing & Price for Renewal

Hello,

I was wondering how we would be able to set a price for when a client first orders a service and then a different price for renewal, how would I be able to do this? I've already looked into Product Bundles but I want to give my customers the freedom to choose what billing cycle they would like to pay with. Does anyone have any ideas on how to do this?

@Profamii thanks for your post! Would the initial period be more expensive? If so you could use a Setup Fee

For instance, if the customer purchasing the service it would be $3, however it would be $6 to renew, this is just an example. If I use a Setup Fee then the customer would be charged $9.

OK you'd need to use promotions for this most likely, can you tell me do you link direct to WHMCS as your website, or do you have a website that you link to WHMCS from

I do both actually. I link to my WHMCS and I direct link to my WHMCS sometimes.

I see what you mean, however is there a way to automatically apply the promotional code as I have clients that order from my WHMCS Client Area directly.

Ok, so you could use Promotion links https://docs.whmcs.com/Linking_to_WHMCS#Order_Links to link to the Promotion Codes this would allow you to discount the product by the amount of the first month
