TDub
Is the domain checker integrated with the cart system in v3.5? Seems like after the user looks up a domain name using the integration code it takes them to the old style signup form.
WHMCS CEO Matt Posted December 12, 2007 WHMCS CEO Share Posted December 12, 2007 No, the domain checker links to the older order form as before. You can link to http://demo.whmcs.com/cart.php?a=add&domain=register and/or http://demo.whmcs.com/cart.php?a=add&domain=transfer for domain only orders in the cart. TDub
Thanks. Yeah, I saw that, but it doesn't allow the customer to check the availability easily from any page in the site. Is there any easy way to link the domain checker form to the domain search results on the page you specified or any plans to be able to do that?
TDub
Nevermind, got it. Just point the form action to /cart.php?a=add&domain=register and it works.
WHMCS CEO Matt Posted December 12, 2007 WHMCS CEO Share Posted December 12, 2007 For others, the exact code you need to do this can be found by going to Utilities > Integration Code > Domain Ordering Matt
Si
Hmmm, I've upgraded to 3.5 and whenever I go to cart.php?a=add&domain=register it shows the header and side menu but the page is blank. In fact, anything to do with the cart.php (such as cart.php?a=view) is blank. I'm using the portal template. Anyone any ideas. am I missing template files? WHMCS CEO Matt Posted December 12, 2007 WHMCS CEO Share Posted December 12, 2007 Sounds like the folder templates/orderforms/cart is missing. Matt
Si
Thanks Matt, that was it. Now we're cooking. Fantastic features in this version. Si
