Domain renewal email and invoices

Had a client today that was reminded about an upcoming domain renewal and went to see thier invoice to pay. No invoice. Invoicing is set for 14 days before being due, domain reminders sent at 60, 30, 15, 7 and 1. Unfortunately, with this setup, they won't have an invoice to pay until the one week reminder.

In the domain email:

Subject: Upcoming Domain Renewal Notice

Dear xxxxx,

The domain name listed below will expire in 60 days.

domain.com - 02/01/2008

To ensure the domain does not expire, you should renew it now. You can do this from the domains management section of our client area here: [clientareaurl]

The domain management area doesn't seem to have a way for them to renew now. Have I missed something here? How can someone renew from the client area domain management section when it's not yet invoiced and marked as due?

In your client area click on:

My Domains --> View Details --> under Management Tools

You should have the following buttons

[Renew Domain] [Contact Information]

Click on the [Renew Domain] button then you should be directed to another page like:

Secure your domain by adding more years to it. Choose how many years you want to renew it for below and then click order renewal.

******.co.uk

Current Renewal Date: 10/09/2009 [Order Renewal]
