automated install of joomla with custom data

coradia

Question

I am looking to automate from start to finish from registering the domain or selecting to use their own domain (they will have to change their own nameservers), to creating the hosting account and then install a modified Joomla installation ready for the client to build their site using our pre-configured template. I know we can register the domain and create the hosting account but can we use whmcs to then install a modified Joomla Installation?

many thanks in advance

Can you?  Yes
Now, can you 'out of the box' (with no modifications) ? No

This can, absolutely be done, but you'll need to utilize the hooks features, and probably tie this in with your control panel, with a predef script to do this. Will take a good bit of customization, but it can absolutely be done

Hey @coradia,

Thanks for your post! I'd start by taking a look at the MarketPlace to see if there is a third party addon that may help. Or if you are on a cPanel, cPanel Extended, DirectAdmin, Plesk, Interworx, or Centos Web Panel that uses  Softaculous they have an Auto Install Module that you might be able to use theres more infomration at https://www.softaculous.com/docs/WHMCS_Auto_Install_Module
