carloxp
Good morning I'm almost totally inexperienced on whmcs. I'm searching a way to send an email to clients that have multiple domains, listing the domains. For example: Quote Dear Client Your domain(s): - domain1.com - yourdomain2.com - gooddomain3.eu - joedomain.org are near to expire. Please renew asap. This is a generic list, obviously, and I don't know the number and the name of domains when I send the email. I think to some similar to an array, but I not found any array merge fields that contain a list of client's domains that I can iterate into. I hope I explained clearly the question. How I can achieve this? Thank you very much!
WHMCS Technical Analyst II WHMCS Alex Posted January 21, 2018 WHMCS Technical Analyst II Share Posted January 21, 2018 Hello, Thank you for your post! WHMCS handles this automatically for you providing you have your Daily Automation Cron configured to execute. You can set when these reminders are sent out by navigating to Setup -> Automation Settings and modifying the Domain Reminder Settings option. You can customise the email sent out by editing the Upcoming Domain Renewal Notice template at Setup -> Email Templates. Relevant documentation: https://docs.whmcs.com/Crons https://docs.whmcs.com/Cron_Configuration https://docs.whmcs.com/Automation_Settings#Domain_Reminder_Settings https://docs.whmcs.com/Email_Templates I hope this helps. brian!
just to expand on @WHMCS Alex post, I believe that there is still a bug in place that sends clients an Upcoming Domain Renewal Notice email per domain... so as in your example, if the client has 4 domains expiring on the same day, they'll receive 4 separate emails (one for each domain).
