ukbhuk
Hi, When I try to navigate to the Add-on Modules page in admin the page loads extremely slowly, 3 minutes or more, also when configuring a module on that page and clicking on save the same happens. I switched on error reporting, but nothing is showing in the page when loaded or in the reports log.
sentq
the first thing came to my mind is that maybe one or more of your addons trying to connect with remote website using cURL for example! you could disable the activated addons one by one and reload the page to find the one causing the issue, or the best option will be to rename/move addons folders instead of deactivating them (as this may cause data lose)
ukbhuk
Thanks for that info, I have turned off a couple of the last addons I added but still the slow load. I will though check the cURL you mentioned and also rename the addons folder which will be far quicker, as when deactivating an addon it takes ages and of course I need to add back in the connection details. WHMCS Marcus
To rule out multiple addons at once, you could create a folder within the modules/addons directory called .disabled and temporarily move all of the addon files and folders into that disabled folder. Then move them back one at a time into the root folder to be loaded. This could help speed up and is similar to what @sentq mentioned.
