Pricing of Upgrades with setup fees

I have a product that has a setup fee of $25 and recurring monthly charge of $100              (initial payment $125)

I upgrade to a product that has a setup fee of $50 and recurring monthly charge of $200   ($250)

 

I would expect the upgrade cost to be $125, but I keep getting $100.

The calculation seems to disregard the additional setup fee.

Is this configurable?

not from settings.

it's been a requested feature for years (nothing new there though!)

if you're going to need to do this now, then you'll be looking at finding a third-party module that does it (I can't think of one offhand), or writing an action hook to create an invoice for the fee (or modify the existing upgrade invoice if there is one).
