PHP / Cron Issue

Just a quick question before I pester WHMCS support. I am encountering a PHP / Cron issue.

 

When the cron runs, I am getting the following error message via email:

 

Failed loading /opt/ioncube/ioncube_loader_lin_5.6.so:  /opt/ioncube/ioncube_loader_lin_5.6.so: undefined symbol: zend_execute_ex
Failed loading /opt/ioncube/ioncube_loader_lin_7.0.so::  /opt/ioncube/ioncube_loader_lin_7.0.so:: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
Site error: the <a href="http://www.ioncube.com">ionCube</a> PHP Loader needs to be installed. This is a widely used PHP extension for running ionCube protected PHP code, website security and malware blocking.

My host provider has confirmed that ionCube is already installed, and that the server is running PHP 7.1 and have advised I contact WHMCS to troubleshoot further.

At this time we support PHP 7 but not PHP 7.1

We can confirm that WHMCS v7.3 (and thus any version in series the 7 series) functions as expected & without any issues for environments with IonCube 10 loader + PHP 5.6 or PHP 7.0 .
