caroldaley
Las fall I upgraded to WHMCS version 7. and at the same time switched my PHP to 7.0 as well. All was working fine until in the spring when I ran a WHMCS update and had a Oath errr. I downgraded back to PHP 5.6 at the time and want to get back to PHP 7.0. When I switch to PHP 7.0, I get the below error: Oops! Something went wrong and we couldn't process your request. Please go back to the previous page and try again. Whoops\Exception\ErrorException: PHP Startup: Unable to load dynamic library ‘q’ - /opt/cpanel/ea-php70/root/usr/lib64/php/modules/oath.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory in Unknown:0 Stack trace: #0 /home/onlinec/public_html/clients/vendor/whmcs/whmcs-foundation/lib/Utility/Error/Run.php(0): WHMCS\Utility\Error\Run->handleError(32, 'PHP Startup: Un...', 'Unknown', 0) #1 [internal function]: WHMCS\Utility\Error\Run->handleShutdown() #2 {main} I've looked into my server and I can not find Oath in the PHP extensions (Not to be confused with OATH ... that is installed) Can anyone point me in the right direction to install Oath? Thanks! Carol
WHMCS Support Manager WHMCS John Posted July 31, 2017 WHMCS Support Manager Share Posted July 31, 2017 Hi, This appears to be a server configuration issue rather than a WHMCS software matter, as the file mentioned in the error is not part of WHMCS, rather part of your server's PHP configuration. Does the /opt/cpanel/ea-php70/root/usr/lib64/php/modules/oath.so file definitely exist on your server?
caroldaley
Thank you for the reply. I have received word from a ticket I submitted it's a server problem and not whmcs. Oath is not installed on my server, not can I find anywhere online how to install it. I do have Oauth installed, but that is different than Oath...
