entering multiple quantities with multiple options

I'm thinking of ways to capture more requirements for some products - up front when the client orders.

 

For example, selling an email service that I set up after order.

 

If the client wants 5 email boxes, then I'd like 1 custom field for a username entry.

 

So, I want 5 email boxes for my employees. I select the email service product, then quantity, then there will be 5 entry boxes for John@..., Sally@..., Billy@..., and so on.

 

Any thoughts?

if it were me and it's a manual setup - configurable option for the quantity, with 1 custom field (text area) for the mailboxes.

 

you could use custom fields for the lot and get the qty value to show/unhide x additional custom fields... though I wouldn't fancy the coding required!
