ouldfella
hi, can we configure the setup fee one time and the price of product to recuring? if the client buy the product at first for 3 months for example he must pay the setup fee after 3 month when the client buy the same product he hasnt to pay the setup fee. https://www.icosnet.com/cart.php?gid=20 thanks
AffordableDomainsCanada
Setup fees are included on the first invoice for that service. NOT after 3 months as per your example.
brian!
ADC is correct - but there's nothing to stop you adding a setup fee to the same product for Monthly/Quarterly cycles, but not adding one to semi/annual cycles.
ouldfella
hi, thank you for your replies so after 3 months terminates, if the same client buy the same product, whmcs detects that this client had pay the setup fee before.
brian! Im confused here guys, so on monthly recurring will the setup fee be assessed and billed if they pay before the product cancels?

The setup fee would be invoiced on same invoice as the first months service. So if your client signs up today, they will see that setup fee on todays invoice! Not in 3 months time.

We are NOT on the same page here.. For a product to be suspended it would have to have been once active, to be active the client would have had to pay the first invoice, which would have had the setup fee added. The setup fee gets added on the clients FIRST invoice for that specific service! it is not deferred.

Im assuming there will be no setup fee on renewal? even if the product is suspended or expired no setup fee until product is terminated and re-ordered again? or brand new order.
