Client renewed domain did not auto renew with the Registrar

Hi Community,

I'm a noob to WHMCS and I've just had my first client use the client area to renew an expiring domain. The clients' order went through successfully, but the domain did not renew with the Registrar (I am using the Dreamscape Registrar Plugin. I had to renew the domain manually via domain management in WHMCS - so I know the connection to the Registrar is working).

In WHMCS I recieved a "To Do" item that told me the client had paid successfully:

And I also have "auto renew on payment" configured in the settings:

As far as i can work out, this is all I need to configure, so I am uncertain as to why the domain did not renew?

I also noticed that after I manually renewed the domain, the "Next Due Date" did not update (but the expiry date did)..

I'm grateful for any support/direction/advice the community can offer.

Hi,

This message is created if the "Auto Renew on Payment" option is UNticked. Was the option definitely enabled prior to the domain renewal being paid by the client?

If so, please post the Utilities > Logs > Activity Log entries from the time of payment for us to review.
