Hi

The pending order status shows that the order has come in and not yet been marked active by you. The items in that order may well be marked paid and showing as completed for payment and may well have been setup if a hosting account but the order will always show Pending until you activate it and confirm it is indeed active. It's just a way for you to see what orders are new.

Joe, is there a way to activate it automatically. I generally operate a software company during the day and only come around to check emails about 4 times a day. All our clients get our cell numbers for support, and many set up several accounts each day.

Yes, under automation settings. But the new orders will show pending waiting for you to look them over. But keep in mind they are already set up if your settings allow auto setup. You can then look the orders over at your convenience and make sure all went well.

PPH, you say 'if your setting allow auto setup', are you referring a setting in WHMCS? I have all threw the setting and tried several different options and tested it. No one which automatically set up the site on my Cpanel server.

Configuration -> Products / services -> locate product to edit -> server settings tab.

Radio buttons:

[] Automatically create the account as soon as an order is placed

[] Automatically create the account as soon as the first payment is received

[] Automatically create the account when you manually accept a pending order

[] Do not automatically setup this account

Bear, thanks, I have it setup to go after receiving first payment and still not installing on server. Any other ideas. I even did a particular server and automatic. Can you tell me which script does this so I can verify it is installed on server. I have discovered at least other files that did not upload. Or could there possibly be a security setting on server that we would need to tweak. We are currently using a competitive product that is working; so I know we should be able to get this working while evaluating the product. We want to switch for many different reasons.

A simple test to see if the settings are correct would be to use WHMCS to manually set up an account. If you're able to set one up using only WHMCS, then the settings to connect are correct.

Beyond that, you may need to open a support ticket.

Thanks for your assistance. I will open a ticket - I tried the later suggestion last night and it did install immediately, and when I activate it installs as well. I am sure I am overlooking at setting some where. I was also wondering if fraudcall may create the problem. Thanks again have a great week.

Sorry for the delay. Yes that is what I was talking about. The settings Bear gave are correct, but on each product you have set up, go to the "server" tab and down at the bottom you will find these four options :) The proper choice for what you are looking for should be therer

Automatically create the account as soon as an order is placed
Automatically create the account as soon as the first payment is received
Automatically create the account when you manually accept a pending order
Do not automatically setup this account

I'm having this exact same issue,

The product I'm testing with has the automation set to "Automatically create the account as soon as the first payment is received" yet when i mark the invoice as PAID and run the cron the account doesn't get setup as it's still set as pending.

Is there a way to mark orders as active once payment has been received so the cron can run and setup the account?

Setting up the account has nothing to do with the cron job AFAIUI.

Can you *manually* create the account by accepting the order ok ?

Yes I can setup when I create the accept the order. Is there a particular document with the code in for this transaction? I should make sure it uploaded without a hitch.
