Kaasblokje150
Hello, I have a question about updating prices. I want to increase prices but I don't want to let existing customers pay more then they used to. Is is possible to just update the prices at: Setup > Product/Services > Product/Services?
HarryWales
Hello, I have a question about updating prices. Updating product prices does NOT increase prices for existing customers. So if you had a hosting plan called "Linux Hosting Business" that currently costs £10 a month - and you have 20 clients already on that product, when you increase the product price to £11, all your existing clients on that product will continue to be invoiced for £10 - and only NEW clients will be invoiced £11. brian!
the above reply is correct if you want to update client's existing prices, you have a number of options including... 1. manually updating each product record. 2. using the Bulk Pricing Updater - though that can be cumbersome to use. 3. update the database directly via a SQL query. 4. use the third-party addon, Prices AutoCalc, which can update existing prices during a cron job... though it may not be compatible with v7.2 and the developer has supposedly been providing poor support for the last few months.
