Camotec
I followed the instructions and got to Step 2 of the install and the installer is only giving me the New Install option? I am unable to choose the upgrade from 3.4.0 to 3.4.1 option. Can someone help me with this please? Cheers Ben
bear
Did you by any chance overwrite your configuration file in the upload?
Camotec
I only used the changed file package? how can I check this, what is the config file called?
Camotec
My Configuration.php file is intact. (I have a backup of it with all my templates etc. on my harddrive) From what I can see my page is working 100% and the Version is reporting as 3.4.1 However I didn't run the upgrade installer I just uploaded the files over the top of the ones on the server? Does this mean that I can just delete the install directory and it will work fine?
bear
Nice you had a backup. You should run the installer first. Often there are database changes that the installer handles, and if you don't, your files will show the right version, but things may not work properly.

bear
I'd suggest opening a ticket with support. Doing it wrong could kill your current data, and no one wants that.
