There isn't a good explanation on the Footer issue

Hello,

I to want to have my footer in WHMCS theme but it looks like all post that has been posted about this issue doesn't seem to give the right answer or solve the problem. Most of the included link to showcase websites are gone or disabled and the answer to solve the issue is still a mystery.

I went to search in the customising help but even there the info is not helping.

The only thing I could find was:

  • The footer template file includes a number of lines of javascript code immediately prior to the closing tag which are essential to the correct operation of the client area. Please take care not to remove these lines.

[h=2]Include Files[/h]Include templates are templates that are shared and used by multiple pages. They are located within the /includes/ sub-directory.

Common to All Pages

  • head.tpl - Defines the CSS & Javascript files included within the section of a page
  • navbar.tpl - Controls the output of the primary navigation bar menu items
  • sidebar.tpl - Controls the output of the sidebar menu items

As you can see there isn't anything helpful about How To Get My Footer Included in WHMCS.

So my question is, is there someone who is able to explain how to do this on a WordPress theme?

Thanks.

I believe that I am having the same issue. The footer in my theme works when in WordPress, as soon as get into WHMCS the large area for the footer exists, but there i no text. If I look at the source code the text is there. I have tried different themes as well as different order form temples, same results.

He guys,

A question. Where do I start to get the footer of WP into the client area of WHMCS?

As I mentioned before I know that it is possible but the info provided doesn't seem to get me there.

Can someone help to point me into the right direction

thanx

Thanks Brian, I did see that but removing the extra </div> did not remedy the issue.

like a dog with a bone...

I think the issue is to do with .effHidden in /wp-content/themes/arkahost/core/assets/css/animate.css?ver=5.1.3

if I untick that box, then the footer is visible in WHMCS - it was there all the time, but hidden by the css!

https://prnt.sc/fkgz9s (ignore that i've reduced the padding - that was just to make the image smaller!)

I suspect that whatever triggers the footer animation/fade effect in WP, is clashing with something in WHMCS - so quick fix might be to add a custom.css link in the footer to overwrite the above invisibility and ignore fading it in... or modify one of the existing css files - but as there are 34 .css files linked to, i'll leave that to you to figure out which is the most appropriate! :)

Brian, you do know that you are a genius right?

unfortunately, i'm not that self aware! :-P

How many beers do I owe you by now?

i'll add you to the guest list of the Gearheads Christmas party and you can get the first round in! drinking.gif

What the......why am I being ignored on my own thread? What's going wrong here?

you do realise that your question is a wide complicated topic and so it's quicker to answer technical questions first.

besides, there will be users far more knowledgeable than me about your specific question - although whether they choose to answer is anyone's guess.
