yggdrasil
I don't use Plesk for ages and certainly never did with WHMCS. For those using the new Plesk Onyx, how does the provisioning work with WHMCS? How does it work with WHMCS in general? Great? Bad? So, so? Does each hosting account get its own login like with cPanel? Or can WHMCS module add the same hosting accounts to the same Plesk customer account so they can have a consisting login? (manage all their hosting accounts from one Plesk login). While we know WHMCS is more cPanel integration friendly, I was curious how the software works for the probably second most popular control panel. What about addons? Can WHMCS correctly provision addons to Plesk accounts? Maybe someone using WHMCS and Plesk can chip in on his experience, positive or negative so far. That would be appreciated and valued.
WHMCS Technical Analyst WHMCS Edward Posted May 19, 2017 WHMCS Technical Analyst Share Posted May 19, 2017 Hi there, The Plesk provisioning works just like with cPanel. Our Plesk module supports provisioning, suspending/unsuspending, terminations, password resets, upgrades/downgrades and usage stats importing. Does each hosting account get its own login like with cPanel? Or can WHMCS module add the same hosting accounts to the same Plesk customer account so they can have a consisting login? (manage all their hosting accounts from one Plesk login). Yes only one Plesk account is created per client in WHMCS so users have one login to access and manage all of their domains. What about addons? Can WHMCS correctly provision addons to Plesk accounts? WHMCS cannot provision addons to Plesk accounts at this time. (Note we don't support this with cPanel either). If you have any further questions, just let us know. -Ed
