Shimmy
I've been working pretty hard in the last month trying to get WHMCS to integrate with joomla. I finally gave up on that since it didn't work, but managed to create a look-alike menu and create a look that I feel may work. I'd like to know your honest opinions. webmaxtorhosting.com/clients Please be honest...I can take it
darren.nolan
Pretty hot imho, But the menu on the left, and the footer's blue colour seems a little out of place. Have you tried those area's with a light shade of red? And also your maybe links. See how that looks.
generic
your drop down menus appear behind your flash on the home page. may want to move the flash so people can access those menus.
Shimmy
I forgot that I uploaded a different css last night. The colors are currently wrong...oops. It will be fixed soon. As far as the front page, I'm having problems with that slideshow and the menu. I'm still looking for a fix.
mysmallbizu
Have you found a way to integrate the two logins yet?
Shimmy
Have you found a way to integrate the two logins yet? I don't use joomla to manage users. In fact, the only user that is in the database is my administrator account. The login on the front page is for WHMCS.
Shimmy
I fixed the style. Lesson learned...don't mess with your site when it is very late at night. The real look is now there. Thanks for your comments by the way, this really helps to find out what works and doesn't.
robbo
Nice work. I really like the custom icons, aren't too "in your face" but aren't dull either.
Shimmy
Nice work. I really like the custom icons, aren't too "in your face" but aren't dull either. Thanks...it didn't take me too long to make those, and I feel they tie in to the rest of the site nicely.
Shimmy
Thanks to the advice of FinLy and TerrasIOI, I successfully integrated my joomla header into WHMCS. The menu works in all browsers I have tested it with except for IE6, which I'll have to fix later. Please let me know what you think. http://www.webmaxtorhosting.com/clients Thanks

Shimmy
Thank you for the compliment Does anyone happen to know how I can get the joomla menu to work with WHMCS in IE6? I'm stumped on this.
Rick67
Shimmy, As a Joomla user, can you point me towards any documentation as to how you intregated Joomla and WHMCS? I appreciate it. Your site looks great!
Shimmy
Thanks for the compliment Rick. I followed this and simply used the generated page source from the joomla frontend. Then pasted it into header.tpl. It's still a work in progress. I see you're from Columbus, I'm from Dayton.
ghpk
Shimmy, nice work, very clean and impressive. however i think there's something you are calling from non-https folder which is giving a alert box on browsers as "do you want to display non secure items" you should solve this too by moving a copy of those image/s to your https folder.
Shimmy
Thanks ghpk...it was my css. I believe it's fixed, but it still does it if you click on a link when in secure whmcs to go back to the joomla site. I don't know how to fix that.
Multipack
This is very impressive customization/integration with Joomla. Shimmy, Any way you could help doing the same thing for our host? Rather than paying outsiders, I'd rather do so to a partner. If anyone else will see this before, please contact me. P.S. Considering that whmcs is an excellent product on it's own, perhaps the developers may want to get into the CMS integration market as well. This has got to be rewarding. Joomla in particular, has almost no hosting related addons.
