Update WHMCS - Check Now fails with undefined

Recommended Posts

Just upgraded from v6.3.2 to 7.1.1. One Item I noticed is that I first went to Update WHMCS and it complained about the temp path but it would error about not being able to connect to the server. So that was using php 5.6.x, so we switched over to php 7.0.14 and now that page works. We selected the update channel and temp path and click save - all is good.

Now when we are on the update page it says: 7.1.1. | 7.1.1 - we click the check now button and we see it spin and then a red box appears in the top right corner saying: undefined

We do see that the composer directory is being created and some files downloaded when this happens. Has anyone seen this before?

Also checked the tblUpdatelog and it just has:

176, 'not defined', 100, 'Loading composer repositories with package information', '{"time_lapse":0,"memory_usage":"6 MB","memory_peak_usage":"6 MB"}', '2017-01-07 15:38:22', '2017-01-07 15:38:22'

Curious to know what your instance_id column values are - ours all say: not defined
