brian!
http://docs.whmcs.com/Version_5.x_System_Requirements the implication of the above is that with would work with PHP 5.4 - certainly works with 5.3, though can't recall if it does with 5.4
mark4785
Ok thanks. So it would be best if I went about using PHP 5.3? Also, I have found that I am running mySQL 5.6.34 . Would this cause any issues for WHMCS 5?
brian!
Ok thanks. So it would be best if I went about using PHP 5.3? i'd probably start with 5.4, and it if fails, go to 5.3 Also, I have found that I am running mySQL 5.6.34 . Would this cause any issues for WHMCS 5? there was at least one issue where it requires strong passwords... https://forums.whmcs.com/showthread.php?89135-whmcs-not-working-after-mysql-upgrade-to-5-6
mark4785
Thank you for your help Brian. I'll proceed with PHP 5.4 and keep mySQL 5.6.34 and try to install WHMCS 5.x
