There is no other branding outside of WHMCS.

Personally I don't care about having branding for clients and I don't see why anyone would really but then again I am new to all this so may change my point of view over time; hence the ability to upgrade.

Next question, what is the situation around reselling of licenses and what kind of average price would you be able to expect?

this is a first rule of Fight Club type question - we don't talk about it! :)

if you're asking about WHMCS licenses, it's against the rules to sell a license on this forum and, by implication, to buy one here either... I suspect you'll need to go to WHT (WebHostingTalk) or similar forums to get one, and find out how much they sell for.

Yes, I believe so.

What I did read is the secondary sale must be arranged though the support site so is it possible to arrange a seller?

In regard to branding or not, I'm thinking of obtaining a branded license and upgrading for want of a better term, that seems to be the only real grace given in my view.

you need to arrange for support to transfer the license - they'll charge $20 for that... but it's up to you to find a seller or a buyer (whichever way you're doing this) and it's at your own risk.

personally, i've always used unbranded licenses... but starting up, it doesn't really matter if you think you might upgrade in the long-term.
