Support Ticket Email Piping Help Needed

Hello,

I need some help in how to set up the support ticket piping given my configuration. I have read and watched the video but this is not working for me. Here is how I am configured:

I have a dedicated server on which I have created a VPS running Plesk and I have WHMCS installed here along with the shared hosting. My hosting domain lives here (http://www.caNorthHosting.com). The domain name is registered with EasyDNS and it is at EasyDNS that I have the mailboxes setup and hosted for the main domain (caNorthHosting.com, mail for this domain is not on the Plesk server).

How do I configure WHMCS in this situation to allow the support email piping to work?

I'm stuck.

Sincere thanks to everyone/anyone who can help.

Hi,

With a Plesk server you will need to use the POP3 Import Method: http://docs.whmcs.com/Email_Piping#POP3_Import_Method

  1. Create mailboxes for each department
  2. Enter the POP3 details of each email account (one per department) into WHMCS under Setup > Support > Support Departments > Edit)
  3. Create a cron job to trigger the pop.php file every 5 minutes. You can find the POP3 command on the Setup > Support > Support Departments page.

Hope that helps!
