tbenoit Posted November 9, 2007 Share Posted November 9, 2007 So we have to go and tell all of our customers to cancel their paypal subscriptions and restart them again on the next invoice simply because paypals system cannot or will not change the IPN notification url on subscriptions already created. Instead, they would continue to send the IPN notifications to a url that doesn't exist, unless we get customers to cancel and restart subscriptions. What we did during our migration from MBv4 to WHMCS last week is we created a link from the old PayPal URL (MBv4's PayPal return script) to WHMCS's PayPal return script. As we receive the PayPal subscription payments we're populating the Subscription ID field in WHMCS so the next time we receive that Subscription payment we'd expect the process to be automated.
