Hi,

 

I have a fresh install of WHMCS, I can navigate everything and it all works OK apart from saving. When ever I try to press save in the configgenera.php page i get the following error:

 

403

 

Forbidden A potentially unsafe operation has been detected in your request to this site.

 

I am not getting any errors on the server error logs or any logs within WHMCS itself. I have asked my host to look into the problem and they cant seem to find what is wrong either.

I have whmcs installed on another domain on the same host without any problems(same php version etc).

 

Any ideas?

Hello,

 

This type of error when saving usually points to a firewall or something such as mod_security blocking the request on the server side. I'd recommend checking any server logs to look for the issue, if you're using mod_security it should also have a log you can check.

I actually tried disabling this (Sorry forgot to mention this) with no change at all.

Make sure you don't have anything in .htaccess (either WHMCS, or parent directories) blocking this.
