Email Sending Failed - SMTP connect() failed.

I am using Mailgun for my outgoing mail, and I have it working fine elsewhere, but I am unable to send mail through WHMCS which above error.

I have tried both ports 25 and 587, the connection details are 100% correct as they are the same details I use elsewhere.

Hi there,

if you add

$smtp_debug = TRUE;

to your configuration.php file, then try to send mail again, you should see some more in depth output . Please don't post usernames/passwords here, but the last few lines might help

 

Make sure to remove that line, or just comment it out, like

#$smtp_debug = TRUE;

when you're done.
