I am setting up a new install. Admin area is working fine. When I log in as a customer to test the client area I get this error:

Fatal error: Uncaught exception 'RuntimeException' with message 'Calculated algorithm "unknown" is not supported' in /home/OOOOOOOO/public_html/OOOOOOOO/includes/classes/WHMCS/Security/Hash/Password.php:0 Stack trace: #0 /home/OOOOOOOO/public_html/OOOOOOOO/includes/classes/WHMCS/Authentication/Client.php(0): WHMCS\Security\Hash\Password->verify('OOOOOOOO', 'OOOOOOOO') #1 /home/OOOOOOOO/public_html/OOOOOOOO/dologin.php(0): WHMCS\Authentication\Client->verifyFirstFactor() #2 {main} Next exception 'RuntimeException' with message 'Calculated algorithm "unknown" is not supported' in /home/OOOOOOOO/public_html/OOOOOOOO/includes/classes/WHMCS/Terminus.php:0 Stack trace: #0 [internal function]: WHMCS\Terminus->whmcsExceptionHandler(Object(RuntimeException)) #1 {main} thrown in /home/OOOOOOOO/public_html/OOOOOOOO/includes/classes/WHMCS/Terminus.php on line 0

Any thoughts?

If this is first time install I would highly recommend to be installed from WHMCS official package, Softaculous installation has multiple issues, and when you ask WHMCS support they will say

WHMCS is installed from Softaculous, you will need to contact them directly to report this issue as we do not control the file they distribute nor can we fix any issues with it.

This is true. I've seen more than one softaculous install problematic.

You shouldn't have to reinstall though, just remove everything (except for configuration.php), then re-upload the freshly downloaded package
