gbotica
Has any one noticed that since v6.3 the email template var {$whmcs_url} has a trailing slash added, and so links in email templates have a double slash, like this: http://mywhmcs.com//knowledgebase.php In my email templates, links back to WHMCS are like this: {$whmcs_url}/knowledgebase.php I note that in General Settings, the WHMCS System URL has a trailing slash, and if I remove it, on reload it gets added back. Am I imagining things, or has this changed since updating to v6.3?
zomex
I believe it has been changed yes, I'd recommend removing the / from your URLs to mitigate this, I'm sure there must be a reason for WHMCS changing this.
gbotica
OK, thanks for the confirmation. Would have been nice if this had been in the release notes... I would like to be sure that they're not going to go and change it back again in the future too.
sentq
I would like to be sure that they're not going to go and change it back again in the future too. if you worry about that why not use it like this: {$whmcs_url|trim:"/"}
gbotica
Thanks for the suggestion. I don't really feel like editing all my email templates again though...
