elusiven
Hello everyone, I'm new here and a bit irritated trying to fix this issue for hours. I have integrated whmcs with my TCAdmin Panel. Automation is not working though, and it was the main reason I was buying it for... I have setup the packages to be automatically setup after payment is received. I have setup custom fields and everything needed. Basically, what happens is; I order a new game server, the order goes into 'pending' state. And.... That's it.. Nothing happens, the client pays for the server but receives a big null in his face. So I dug a lot and found out that you need to manually accept those orders, and they create the service anyway.. Okay, So I accepted the order and then again... Nothing happens. How it works for me currently is that I have to accept the 'pending' order and then I have to save it as an active service and then I have to manually click 'create' to actually create the game server and then it works. Pretty pointless though because i'm advertising an instant setup after payment... Please, can someone explain why this is not working, I'm close to pulling all my hair out. - - - Updated - - - What i've noticed is that unless the service is actually active, not pending It won't create a game server. It needs to be active in order to create a game server. Anyway to fix that????? - - - Updated - - - Nevermind, I got this. So simple solution!! I had to create a serve group, and assign my servers to the group. Then in products assign a server group. I think WHMCS didn't know which server to use by default and was stuck in that process. Now i'ts working like a charm and activating/creating instantly.
WHMCS Support Manager WHMCS John Posted February 22, 2016 WHMCS Support Manager Share Posted February 22, 2016 Hi, I'm pleased to hear you were able to find a solution. A server group is certainly one way to automate this, the simplest way is just to ensure you have a default server selected. This is done by clicking the server name on the Setup > Products/Services > Server page (so an asterisk appears next to it). Thereby telling WHMCS on which server to provision the account.
